A major manufacturer and supplier of specialist training and hardware solutions, EDM offer a range of products within the commercial aviation, defence and new product development sectors. As a well recognised global manufacturer, the business is rapidly expanding and thus the requirement for a further manufacturing building was essential at the businesses headquarters in Manchester.

Acland Bracewell instructions comprised a fully comprehensive planning service, from commencement of the planning process, including engagement with the Local Planning Authority during pre-application advice, management of the planning application, through to submission. This comprised co-ordination and management of technical consultants, including flood risk and drainage, contamination, highways, noise and landscape and visual impact, which informed the overall design scheme, preparation of Design and Access Statement, Planning Supporting Statement and associated documentation.

Working with the client and approved contractor, Acland Bracewell successfully obtained full planning permission and approval of details reserved by conditions were also completed by Acland Bracewell for and on behalf of the client.
