Acland Bracewell has secured full planning permission for an exciting new residential scheme on land in South Ribble’s Green Belt, with a sustainable development that attracted the full support of both local residents and the council.
Planning permission on the former agricultural site in Leyland comprises nine new large, detached homes. The development is expected to complete within the next two years, and Acland Bracewell – the Tarleton-based real estate consultancy behind the scheme – is also instructed to enter into discussions with housebuilders.

The plans show four types of modern architecture homes, each of which have been designed specifically for the development, providing an attractive, high quality living environment, which incorporates ecological, infrastructure and landscaping within the overall scheme.
Acland Bracewell secured planning permission for residential use by working proactively with South Ribble Borough Council through the pre-application process, ensuring the proposed scheme is sensitive to its location and the natural environment. The plans include features such as bat boxes, EV charging points and appropriate off-road parking, alongside architecture and landscaping that enhances the environment and contributes to the wider street scene.
