
Wyre Borough Council’s Planning Committee have voted unanimously in favour of a mixed-use development off the A6 near Garstang.
The proposed mixed-use development comprised a total floorspace of 2,184.5m2 extending to 523m2 of café/restaurant with drive-thru (Use Class E(b)) 692m2 of light industrial (Use Class E(g)(i) and 969.5m2 of Storage and Distribution (Use Class B8).
Acland Bracewell assisted in the s.106 negotiations prior to successfully obtaining full planning permission and were subsequently instructed to discharge all pre-commencement conditions, which Acland Bracewell were successful in their remit. Acland Bracewell is also instructed to assist in the s.278 Agreement relating to extensive work in the public highway.
