Acland Bracewell Surveyors were instructed to prepare and submit a Full Planning Application for the conversion of an existing agricultural red brick building to a single residential dwelling.

Accordingly a number of external consultants were instructed to undertake surveys, including a Transport Statement, Topography Survey, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Ecology Survey and also a Structural Survey.

Working closely with Bramley Pate & Partners as the Architects for the development, plans and elevations were submitted alongside the planning application.

Acland Bracewell met with the Case Officer dealing with the application to discuss its merits, negotiations were undertaken and resulted in an increase in the floor space of the proposed development.

Planning permission for the conversion of the barn and the demolition of the existing agricultural barns which were no longer fit for purpose was granted on 24th May 2016, subject to conditions.

Acland Bracewell are currently in the process of preparing and submitting an application for the Approval of Details Reserved by Condition on behalf of the Applicant.
