James Nuttall (Transport) Limited is a family operated business, having been established since 1975 and has been located at Royale Barn since 1985.

This business has successfully developed and expanded, having located to the site in 1985 and are significant local employers, employing 80 full members of staff.

This business has built up an extensive portfolio of customers, both locally and nationally from all sectors of industry and now operates a fleet of over sixty vehicles, predominantly Scania from the site.

The business is a member of the Palletforce Network, the Transportation Association and is a member of OPCOM training scheme an industry accredited documented and audited training programme and is dedicated to Safety and Training.

It is anticipated that as a result of the proposal, the business will, most importantly be able to retain the existing staff and generate employment in the locality.

There was a clear need for the new warehouse building as it ensured that business would remain competitive and in turn continue to employ local people.
