Agriculture has always been a defining part of James’ life. Born on a small Lancashire farm, James has been stacking bales and feeding cows from a very early age and growing up, has spent many hours working on his family farm, and assisting other local farmers.
This agricultural background has developed James’ knowledge of large scale working arable, livestock and dairy farming units, and building up strong working relationships with local rural businesses. James has also gained practical building construction experience.
Educated at Hutton Grammar School, James has recently joined Acland Bracewell Surveyors as an Apprentice Surveyor and is presently reading the Rural Enterprise and Land Management (REALM) apprenticeship undergraduate degree course at Harper Adams University, which incorporates working towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
James has a passion for land, agriculture and country pursuits.
