We are thrilled to have received a Decision Letter from the Planning Inspectorate confirming our Appeal against refusal of an Outline Application by Fylde Borough Council has been allowed.
On behalf of our client, we executed a careful planning strategy to seek to obtain planning permission for residential development on their land, located in a rural area of allocated Countryside. When the Local Planning Authority, Fylde Borough Council, refused the Outline Application, we appealed against the Decision to the Secretary of State.
Preparing a thorough appeal submission, our Written Representations were considered by the Inspector, which sought to substantially address the reasons for refusal. The Local Planning Authority also provided their Statement of Case, maintaining their position.
After careful consideration, the Appeal was allowed, and Outline Planning Permission was granted. This is an exciting outcome which will enable a development capable of breathing new life into this small site, enhancing the street scene and providing a gentle addition of housing to this rural settlement.
