Acland Bracewell are delighted to be in receipt of instructions, as appointed agent for the landowner, Tarleton Estates Limited to market the Second Phase for up to 170 dwellings with access off Crab Tree Lane, South of Atherton, Greater Manchester.
In September 2020, outline planning permission was granted by Wigan Council for the 76 acre master plan over South of Atherton for up to 830 dwellings, together with open space, road infrastructure and landscaping with all matters reserved, except for access off Bee Fold Lane, Crab Tree Lane and Leigh Road. Following the grant of planning permission, Acland Bracewell were appointed to market the first phase for up to 120 dwellings and following formal marketing, Bloor Homes secured the first phase of the development.
Through the s.106 agreement, the development will generate £1.97 million for local education, £896,000 for highways and footpath improvements up to £860,000 towards off site recreation improvements for the benefit of the existing and future residents of Atherton and the surrounding local community.
